Signs of Spring

It is really beginning to look like Spring around here! On my walk with Coco today, I noticed so many flowers have popped up in our yard. I love flowers. My favorite was the bright pink ones. They smelled sooo good! And of course, a picture of Coco. What a side profile he's got!

Coco's Smile

I swear this picture makes it look like Coco is smiling! Head tilted...Chin up...Say cheese! I really like Coco's haircut. It made it tons easier when putting his harness on today to go on a walk. No more having to put aside the hair in order to actually be able to see the clip!

I also found out that his haired weighed half a pound! This amazed me. I weighed him yesterday morning before his hair cut and he was 11.5 lbs even. Then after his hair cut he was 11 lbs even. Who knew dog haired weighed that much?

Isn't this flower beautiful? I forgot what they are called (no surprise there) but we have been growing them in a pot for a year now. They bloom only once a year (around this time) though. They are a Japanese flower, I just can't remember the name. Anyone know? Anyways...I zoomed in real close and got this shoot. Pretty amazing the colors this flower is, all from nature. The red spots are so intricate! Too bad it can't stick around all year, but it gives me something to look forward to in the winter when I am watering nothing but its yucky GREEN leaves!

It's Grooming Day!

Today was Grooming Day! The Groomer came today and Coco looks adorable! I took a lot of pictures of him (as you can tell) and one of the Grooming Van. It was a neat van, with it's own water and power. Coco is sooooo tiny without all the hair. This Poodle type cut is going to be great for summer. Mom, I'd really like to get groomed!

This is what Coco looked like on his last grooming.

Well, Coco is getting groomed this Saturday now by a new Mobile Groomer. He was scheduled for this Tuesday, but sadly, the groomer called me and said she had to put her dog down the day before. She was a mess. I felt so bad for her. But, it won't be long until Saturday and then Coco will be groomed! Yeah!

I will be sure to post pics when he is done. I think I will take a pic of the Mobile Grooming Van too, for you all to see, it is really a neat thing! And now that you all have a good before and after picture from last grooming trip, you kind of know what to expect this time. So it's not a total shock!

The Weekend Recap

A few pictures from the weekend. It was nice and sunny all day yesterday, but then it started pouring last night! So...

Today

Here's a picture of Coco on his new bed. Doesn't he look comfy? Yep, this is a new picuture. And yes, he still has lots of hair. Because . . . He wasn't groomed today! It's set up for Thursday of next week now. His groomer ran out of time again today. She said she will for sure make it on Thursday. Her truck will be fixed then (she has a few and one is down) so she will make it. It's not her fault so we wait :-) As for now, we will enjoy a nice weekend, a nice, hairy weekend!

Also found this picture today while surfing the internet. It is so calming to look at. I love pictures - Both taking them and looking at them - So I am all about finding good ones and enjoying them. Some just get you lost in the moment!

Not Yet

No pictures guys! But to come soon! Coco's groomer is a very busy lady so he wasn't able to get groomed today. She takes a long time on each dog individually so she ran out of time. She is SO worth the wait though. She runs out of time because she TAKES the time on each baby. Hopefully he will be trimmed tomorrow afternoon so I will post pics then!

Hair Time!

Tomorrow Coco is getting a haircut! This is a picture of Coco a few days after his last haircut in September of last year. It is a lot longer now, so it will be weird to have his all skinny again like this! With hair, he looks like a Bear, without it (when we shave him in a Poodle cut) he looks like a Chihuahua! With Summer coming though, he needs it to be short. He likes it better that way when it's hot. Don't ask me "How" I know. I just do. Mommy Power.

Snow, Here? Yep!

This picture was taken in March, but since I hadn't started blogging then, I couldn't post it. Anyways, you are probably looking at it as "just" a bit of snow. And, for some people, that is all it is. But for us, it was monumental! We are in CA, a part of CA that NEVER gets snow. So to wake up one Sunday morning and find the hill of our yard white was exciting. I don't think it will happen again though. One of those once-in-a-lifetime things you HAVE to capture with the good 'ol digital camera. Coco was alarmed by how cold it was when he stepped in it and he wondered, how do my Puggie friends Willow and Belle stand it all the time? :-)

Coco is known for dancing on his two back legs around here. Here's Coco dancing. He pushes his two front paws up on my hand like he is "reaching." Just precious!

Weird overpass we saw on the road today. Had my camera so I thought, hey, why not capture it? I've never seen one curve like that before! Just after I took this pic, it started raining like crazy! (and hasn't stopped)


I took this picture of Coco today. I really like it! I found him just sitting like that looking up at me while I was on the computer. Too bad he's got red eye in it. I think I can take care of that with a little touching up.

My Baby

This was Coco as a puppy. I found this picture of him on my computer today and had to post it. He was SO tiny. And so dark. Look at his ears!

Coco's New Bed

I got Coco this new bed a few days ago. I wasn't sure how he'd react to it. I was hoping he wouldn't take one smell of it, walk away and hop onto his old bed. Thank God he didn't! He loves his new bed. I guess it smelled all right!

Look What I Found!

Coco loves to look outside from "his" window in the house. He often has that look on his face that says, "Look Mom, look what I found!"

Polo Shirt

I got Coco this Polo Shirt yesterday. It fits him just right! He doesn't seem to mind wearing it at all, which is great. Say Good-Bye to Coco's long locks - He is getting a hair cut next week! It gets to be way too much hair for such a little guy. He weighs 12 lbs with all this hair, so we'll see how much he weighs without it. He is so skinny, you just can't tell with all the hair. Don't worry, it grows back, FAST.

Coco's New Friend

Who's that puppy in the corner? It's Coco's new friend! It was real cute, Coco was barking at him like he was a real puppy. The toy walks around and barks, so Coco decided to grab 'em by the ear. Look how big Coco is compared to the toy!
