Back for a Walk

I took Coco out on a walk today bright and early, with hopes it wouldn't be very hot. Apparently, when you live in Calif. at 7 am it is still very hot. I was all sweaty when we got back home. Coco enjoyed his walk though so I was glad! Here he is "exploring" you can already see the Tree shadows on the ground since the sun was hot and shinning!

Pretty flowers blooming in our yard. They are a deep, deep pink color. At the beginning of Spring it was nothing more then a little green bush. Now we have flowers!

Looks like a nice morning walk. it is still raining here and in the mid 50's AGAIN..they say sun and up in the 80's tomorrow so maybe you sending it back our way worked! I hope I hate being cooped up inside. I did manage to get Willow and Belle out for a quick walk this afternoon it stopped raining a little while ago. and now it is very Muggy out.

They do love to get their walks....I took my daddy's dog out last week and she would get hot and decide to go home and let me know about it! It's like she's driving the leash.

I hope you get some sun Willow! But can I keep some over here too? Just a little. LOL ;o)
Ragus, I think I know what you mean now when you went on an early morning walk at your parents. It was so humid out and so early in the morning too. I don't remember it being this hot last Summer! What kind of dog do your parents have?

Coco, those flowers are so pink! Are they something that grows in the desert really good? Do you have any cacti in your yard or near you? I love a cactus...it's the only thing I can grow myself. My parents have a schnauzer and she is so sweet but she does not like children so when I walk her, I have to tell children that want to pet her that she is mean. I hate to but I can't risk her biting them. Last week she let's an adult person pet her but when some kids approached us, she growled at them.

I'm not too sure if this Flower would grow in a desert type place (although you'd think we live in the desert with this kind of weather today!) but it seems VERY sturdy and holds up to the 100* weather we have been having lately. I will try and see if I can find what it is called. Last time I went to Home Depot I told them a description of a flower I was after (one of our neighbors had it) and the lady pointed me to the EXACT flower. So I will ask them next time I go and I am sure they will know. I'll let you know ;) Nope...No cactus here, but I do like them and they are SO sturdy. Makes me look like I have a green thumb! We all know that I dont, these flowers just keep popping up around this time and I water them. I am amazed how this flower grew to be so big now. Just a month ago it seems it was a tiny little green bush with no flowers at all. Coco knows not to lift his leg on this plant since Mommy likes it ;o) I am glad you had your parents Schnauzer to walk while you were down there! I know she's not a Pug (A Pug would never not want to be around Kids LOL!) but at least you had a furry love for the week.
