Heading to the Westminster Dog Show!
I just brushed Coco out today...this is what I call a FULL Brushing ~ From the Tip of his snout (literally) to the very end of his tail. I think his coat looks Gorgeous!
This is when Coco favors his Maltese side.
I love that he is a Malte~Poo and can really go either way with his coat...after he is groomed/clipped he looks just like a Mini Poodle. But when his coat is at this point and I brush him out, he looks like a Maltese with a tint of lemon coloring to his coat!
Doesn't he look like the next ~Best in Show~ at Westminster?

Yes Sandy...He does enjoy it (I think) I usually give him a bone/toy to play with during his brushing, so he doesnt mind!

How long will his hair get???? My sister has 2 Maltese (I think you saw one in a Christmas pic) She keeps her's short, but I love that brushed out look...lots of work!

YES! I did see your sister's GORGEOUS maltese in one of the Xmas pics you posted. ( I have an eye for fluffy white dogs!!!)

Coco's hair will get *VERY* long. I don't let it get too long though, because if starts to get real "natty" and harder to brush. It never gets to be like show dog lenght where it hits the floor if that is what you are thinking.. :)
That is not for coco's lifestyle! lol.
For now, his length is totally managable...so I enjoy brushing it out! It still has a ways to go (at least a few more months) before he gets his hair clipped/cut. If you go back a few months on this blog.....you can see his RIGHT before his hair cut & right after. a BIG difference... hard to believe its the same dog! ok, I'll stop rambling now... :o)

My sister has 2 Maltese a boy and a girl, the girl is very tiny and drives the boy crazy. She makes him so nervous he chews his paws and stains them. I tell her "heh, what's up with your dog, he's stained!".
