Leah, my goodness, that's a lot of different climates to look at in the weather section. desert/mountain/beach/LA...
I watched a show on travel to the Mission Inn Hotel out there yesterday. It was really pretty. Have you ever been to that hotel?
I know! So many climates zones...Such ranges within them, too!
I haven't ever heard of the Mission Inn hotel (thus never been there, LOL) but you have my curiosty up now - So I had to do a search for it - found their website and it's beautiful! That's so neat that it was Featured on Travel Channel!

Looking more like my neck of the woods..it was in the 80's here today. after a bad storm it really cooled off..now i have a sweatshirt on. are you north of cal.? is it cooler north than the south? Cal. is such a large state is there a difference in the weather from the south to the North?
I thought of your weather, Lisa, when I saw the 80's temps today!
I am in Southern Cal.
And yes...There is a temp difference ~~ Nothern Cal is generally colder then us in Southern Cal. Nothern is closer to Sacramento , etc... and they are more prone to snow as well. It would be so weird to get snow here......that is why last winter when there was a half an inch outside everyone went bonkers. LOL. Us crazy southern Ca people, see a little snow and we panic. LOL
